Childwall Academy LIVE: Liverpool school in lockdown after ‘threat made to pupil’ | UK | News

A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: “We can confirm that officers are currently at Childwall Sports and Science Academy following a report of a threat to a pupil on Thursday 14 May, believed to have come from a teenager.

“The report was prepared just before noon. “There is not believed to be a wider threat to any students or staff at the school.

“Officers, including a dedicated Safe Schools Officer, are currently at the school to provide reassurance and investigations into the incident are ongoing.

“The decision to close the site was made by the school.”
