Amazon India launches massive recruitment drive: Over 1.5 lakh seasonal jobs created ahead of festive season

Amazon India, while preparing for the upcoming festival period, announced that more than 150,000 seasonal positions have been created during the operation network, including fulfilling centers, ranking centers and the latest mile delivery stations.

Opportunities in more than 400 cities

Opportunities are spreading to more than 400 cities covering big city centers such as Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Bengaluru, Haydarabad and Lucknow. Roller includes both direct and indirect positions in Amazon’s operations, which aims to manage the increasing demand during the festival season.

Amazon India also said that thousands of women participants and more than 2,000 different people were presented as part of the recruitment driving. The majority of new employees have been prepared and trained for preparation for the expected increase in customer orders in the coming weeks.

Investment in water supply projects

He added that the projects aim to strengthen both emergency water access and long -term flexibility, to support agricultural livelihoods, to increase biological diversity and to secure urban water resources.

Amazon’s portfolio, the restoration of Yamare Lake near Bengaluru and the regeneration of SAI Reddy Lake near Haydarabad is expected to renew approximately 570 million liters annually. In the new Delhi, a Hasten Regeneration Yamuna River Basin project is expected to add 400 million liters each year.
