At least six dead in domestic gas explosion in Russia

At least six people died in an apartment block in SARATOV, Southern Russian city
On Friday, civil defense officials said that at least one child was among the dead. Emergency services saved a person from the rubble of the building and is believed to have more trapped.
Four people were lost and 16 people were injured.
The explosion destroyed the stairwell from the seventh to the 10th floor of the building and the damaged windows in the neighboring building. Residents of both buildings were taken to security.
Regional Governor Rome Busargin declared a regional emergency.
Gas pipe explosions in residential buildings are common in Russia and cause serious damage and losses. The weak care of ruined pipes or infrastructure is generally indicated as cause.
