A punk band left Coachella after the lead singer broke his neck and suffered an “acute brain injury.”
Days before taking the stage at the annual music and arts festival in Indio, California, the Lambrini Girls announced they would not be performing.
“We need to leave Coachella and reschedule our all-American headlining tour,” the Phoebe Lunny-led band said on Instagram. “Long story short: I broke my neck and suffered an acute brain injury.”
Lunny said the injury occurred while he was in Australia and was initially misdiagnosed, leading to him receiving delayed treatment. According to his doctor, Lunny is not allowed to fly or perform for six weeks.
