Bulk users who adopt dual piping, use treated water to be incentivised

Bangalore water supply and sewage board (BWSSB) announced that cast users will be encouraged by the board that will adopt binary pipes and use for purposes that do not use unrelated gray water.
BWSSB President V. Ram Prasath Manohar said, “We will prepare an offer to encourage public users who have adopted binary pipes and placed in front of the board of directors at the next meeting.” “If the double pipes adopt the pipes, they will already save water bills. But the Board of Directors will probably encourage them further through a discount on the invoice,” he said.
Deputy Prime Minister and Bengaluru Development Minister DK Shivakumar recently fought to accept binary pipes in the city as in Delhi.
Mr. Manohar held a meeting with public users in the city on Tuesday. Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Manohar said that the Board wants to use the solar energy in the existing infrastructure for them and that 80% of the energy needs of the board of directors are withdrawn from the harness area on its own.
“The biggest component of our expenses is the power bill. When the HASCOM receives 6.5 wages per unit, it provides housing power per unit. Every ₹ 100, LA 70 power bills we spend to provide water. We want to use solar energy to overcome this.”
