As the fear of an attack on Iran reaches its peak, US President Donald Trump has put forward the ultimatums “no nuclear and stop killing protesters” in his meetings with Iranian officials in the last few days and announced that he is planning more.
On Wednesday, the USS Abraham Lincoln and a U.S. Navy aircraft carrier strike group continued to advance toward the Gulf and are already within striking distance of the country whose government is believed to have killed 5,000 to 30,000 of its own citizens in a brutal crackdown on anti-regime protesters.
Trump made demands to Tehran
“We have a lot of very large, very powerful ships heading to Iran right now. It would be great if we didn’t have to use them. I told them two things; first, no nuclear. Second, stop killing protesters. … They’re going to have to do something.” She was on the red carpet for the premiere of the movie “Melania”.
Donald Trump It was warned by an Iranian proxy official earlier on Wednesday that any attack on the country could “trigger a volcano in the region” as fears of a potential World War III soared to alarming levels. The warning came from a senior Lebanese Hezbollah official, according to Iranian state-owned Press TV.
Nawaf al Moussawi claimed that President Trump is trying to do one of two things: make a deal with Iran or dismantle the regime. But he also issued a chilling threat to the United States over any attack on Iran, warning that “what is holding the United States back is its inability to predict the aftermath of the attack.” Commenting on Hezbollah’s possible response to any attack, Mousavi reportedly said: “We will cross the bridge when we get there.”

Russia called for moderation on all sides
In his statement following the warning, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov called for moderation between the USA and Iran.
He said Moscow “called for restraint on all parties” and that any use of force against Tehran could create regional chaos and “lead to very dangerous consequences.”
Iran has been on high alert for a possible US attack since Donald Trump announced that “another beautiful navy” was heading to the Middle East. Iran responded with a message from a senior official warning that any attack would be considered an “all-out war” and vowed to respond to any violation of Iran’s sovereignty.
US is holding a multi-day war preparation exercise
Earlier this week, Air Forces Center, the air component of U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), said it would conduct “a multi-day readiness exercise to demonstrate U.S. Central Command’s ability to deploy, distribute, and sustain combat air power throughout its area of responsibility.”
In a statement, Air Force Headquarters said the exercise was “designed to improve the ability to deploy assets and personnel, strengthen regional partnerships, and prepare for flexible response implementation.”
On Wednesday, Keir Starmer said Britain and its allies were working to ensure Iran does not develop nuclear weapons.
Speaking during his visit to Beijing, the Prime Minister was asked about the situation in Iran and said: “The biggest problem here, the biggest challenge is to ensure that Iran does not have a nuclear program and we are all absolutely agreed on that and we are working with allies to that end and that is the main focus that I have with our allies.”
Trump warns attack was ‘much worse’ than Operation Midnight Tow Truck
In a sign that the United States is willing to attack Iran, as it did in Israel’s 12-day war against Tehran last year, the president added in a social media post: “Time is running out, this is really important.”
“Like I told Iran before, make a deal. They didn’t, and ‘Operation Midnight Hammer’ happened, massive devastation against Iran. The next attack will be much worse. Don’t do it again.”
