Amy Louise Barnard: Harvey Norman Mandurah employee caught on CCTV stealing iPhones

Harvey Norman Mandurah used CCTV to capture a employee playing two iPhones.
Amy Louise Barnard, a three -year -old 45 -year -old mother, stole an iPhone 13 and an iPhone 16e worth $ 879 and an iPhone 16E worth $ 879 while lining up in the Gordon Road store.
Theft occurred in October 2024 and February 2025, and in both cases, Barnard caught CCTV by placing the phones in his bag.
Barnard was found guilty of playing and punishing two people at the Mandurah Magistrate Court at the beginning of this month.
Mission lawyer Dan Jones said that Barnard’s crime was a “terrible violation of confidence ve, but explained that his former partner’s death from cancer contributed to the discomfort.
Peace Judge Leanne Atkins said he was looking at Barnard to condemn community service activities.
However, Mr. Jones asked for a fine for bringing him an important burden for his three children since his former partner’s death.
Ms. Atkins accepted Barnard 2000 dollars and fined and ordered Harvey Norman to pay the value of iPhones as compensation.
