Founders of these $100 million startups all have a Delhi school’s Computer Science club in common — can you guess?

Deedy Das, partner at Menlo Park-based Venture Capital (VC) funding firm Menlo Ventures, shared an interesting detail about the founders of some of the $100+ million-plus companies launched in the past decade.
In a post on social media platform X, Das noted that the founders of each of the companies on this list were part of a Computer Science club at a non-American high school.

The now-viral post, which has over 4.85 lakh views and over 1,600 likes at the time of writing, stated that the founders of companies like Snapdeal, boAt, Sugar Cosmetics and Cartesia were all members of a science club in a school in Delhi.
“Each of these $100 million-plus companies was founded by alumni of a single Computer Science club at a high school outside the United States. Cartesia, Inception Labs, General Catalyst CVF, Wispr Flow, Affinity, Snapdeal, Sugar, boAt,” Das wrote.
