Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly Deputy Speaker K. Raghu Ramakrishnam Raju hinted that Assembly sessions will be held from the second or third week of February 2026.

Speaking to media persons who met him in Visakhapatnam on Sunday, January 18, 2026, the Vice President hoped that YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and ten MLAs of that party will join the Assembly. He said the Ethics Committee was dealing with the issue of MLAs getting their salaries but not participating in the Assembly.
He said members who do not attend the assembly for more than 60 days will be disqualified. However, even one day of participation will be enough to avoid any action.
