Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor scandal: Butler makes bombshell claim about disgraced former prince’s arrest

A former royal butler has made a bombshell claim about the arrest of disgraced former prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
Grant Harrold, who has worked for King Charles, Queen Camilla and both Prince Harry and Prince William, spent years with the family, learning the intricacies of their inner workings.
She met Mr Mountbatten-Windsor several times during her role and said there was a hidden “sense of entitlement” behind his “polite” personality.
But when asked what he thought of the former prince’s arrest, Mr Harrold disputed the widely held belief that Charles was caught off guard by the police.
“I think the king knew what was going to happen,” Mr. Harrold said. LADIBiblical Stories.
“I honestly, I truly believe, the household has connections, of course they have connections. They work with the government, they work with the police, so the police protect them.”
“So they’ll be 100 percent aware of what’s coming, and they’ve definitely been told something to take the drastic measures that they’ve taken.”
This claim runs counter to the majority view that the royal family was not told that Mr Mountbatten-Windsor would be arrested on February 19; however, this move came months after Charles stripped his brother of his princely title.
The former duke was detained and questioned for 11 hours on suspicion of misconduct in public office over allegations that he shared sensitive information with convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein while he was a trade ambassador. The arrest coincided with Mr Mountbatten-Windsor’s 66th birthday.
Mr Harrold went on to claim that Charles may have always had an “inkling” about Mr Mountbatten-Windsor’s true nature.
“Maybe the king always had an intuition, who knows? Maybe he had a feeling,” he said.
He said Charles was not close to his brother.
“I don’t remember them ever being that close, I really don’t,” he said.
“But no, it didn’t have much to do with it other than family gatherings and situations where everyone was supposed to be together.”
Mr. Harrold said that whenever he had any dealings with the former prince, he was polite.
“You know, there would be some kind of thank you or something, but there was also that sense of entitlement that a lot of people describe – you get the sense that he thinks he’s better than everyone else, just his demeanor and… the way he is.”
“And the strange thing for me is that you haven’t gotten that vibe from any other member of the family, not the Queen, not Prince Philip, not his brother Charles, not Anne, none of them.”
But Mr. Harrold explained that although he did not witness any bad behavior, there was something about the former prince that made him want to stay away from him.
“But he had that, I can’t even explain it to you. I just didn’t want to be in his presence. So, you know, luckily I didn’t have to do much for him, and like I said, I just…”
Mr Harrold went on to share his memories of Charles and Camilla’s wedding and said Mr Mountbatten-Windsor refused to speak to any of the staff who attended as guests.
“He was just talking to his family or family friends. It’s actually quite sad because I don’t know why that happened.”
He said none of his colleagues in the royal family had anything nice to say about the former duke.
“Put it this way, she wasn’t one of the most popular royals.”
