Now, real estate expert Elliot Castle of We Buy Any Home says every home’s door potential legacy is “completely” closed.

“[This] “It would only be possible as long as the lease remained in force,” he said. “When that lease is terminated or terminated, there is nothing left to transfer. From a property perspective, this completely closes the door. “The Royal Lodge would revert entirely to the Crown Estate, with no claims against Andrew or his daughters.”

The lease contained specifications regarding the conditions in which the property should be maintained and a clause stating that Andrew must “give permission to the landlord”. [Crown Estate] and persons authorized by the landlord, upon reasonable notice, to enter the premises at all reasonable times to ascertain compliance with the tenant’s obligations hereunder and to inspect their condition, condition and use and to obtain a plan or prepare a schedule of fixtures or a schedule of dilapidations and make an appraisal.

But the property was reportedly never inspected once in the 22 years Andrew lived there.

Since the Royal Lodge is worth £30 million, passing them on to Beatrice and Eugenie could mean a sizeable inheritance. But it won’t happen that way.

And RadarOnline.com It reports that the duo expected the property to go to them, so the loss of the property left them “angry” at the injustice. “There was an expectation that the Royal Lodge would one day benefit Beatrice and Eugenie, even if only as a safety net. Now that has completely disappeared.”

“They’re angry because this isn’t about waste. It’s about removing long-term security. Their dreams of an easy life in retirement are now gone,” a source said.

Some of their anger stems from expectations of what renting out property means. “The understanding was that the arrangement insulated the property from short-term drama. That belief turned out to be sorely mistaken.”

Both Beatrice and Eugenie own homes, so this wasn’t about them moving into the Royal Lodge. “This wasn’t just a place to live. It was a valuable leased asset that justified significant personal investment over time,” a source said.

Another source said: “Neither of the princesses need the Royal Lodge for accommodation, but losing a $40 million asset changes the shape of their futures.”
