Andrew’s six-word whinge when he was booted from Royal Lodge says it all – he’s finished | UK | News

The infamous Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s “Don’t you know who I am?” It will surprise few people to be said to have shouted: when he was kicked out of his house.

According to reports, the cold oaf, who lived a life of luxury within the gilded walls of the Royal Lodge for 20 years before being shown the door by King Charles, wailed “I’m the Queen’s second son, you can’t do this to me” as he was being released for his friendship with fellow sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

The fallen former Duke of York was forced to leave the 30-room Windsor mansion for which he paid “pepper rent” earlier this month.

But perhaps the most striking example of unjust entitlement, arrogance and greed, a man born with dazzling privileges, still could not resist using his late mother’s name.

It says everything you need to know about someone who continues to think he’s untouchable simply because of his birthright.

Andrew did not want to leave the estate – the Grade II-listed former home of his beloved grandmother, the Queen Mother – but was forced into exile at Wood Farm on the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, where he was effectively annulled and finished.

He was arrested on his 66th birthday on Thursday and spent 11 hours in police custody, being interrogated on suspicion of abuse of public office.

It has always been said that Andrew was the favorite son of the late Queen Elizabeth.

After he was ordered to vacate Royal Lodge, a source said: “He refused to leave or take any responsibility.

“When he was told to come out he was so arrogant and deluded that he repeatedly shouted: “But I’m the Queen’s second son, you can’t do this to me”.

“It is extraordinary that he has chosen to use the Queen’s name in his defence. No one is quite sure yet whether the reality of his dire situation has been revealed.”

In March 2022 – just weeks after settling a civil sexual abuse case with Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre, believed to be worth around £12 million – an emboldened Andrew stunned the world by accompanying the Queen to the dedication ceremony for her husband Prince Philip at Westminster Abbey.

The surprise role was highly controversial and saw her mother moving at a steady but slow pace, clinging to Andrew’s elbow before taking her seat.

The following year, he raised eyebrows when he walked alongside his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson as part of the royal family’s traditional walk to church at Sandringham.

Just a few days later, his name was mentioned for the first time in newly released court documents regarding Epstein.

Before he was arrested and released, Andrew spent his days wandering the grounds on horseback, often giggling and grinning.

Andrew has forcefully and consistently denied any allegations of wrongdoing or impropriety regarding his relationship with prolific pedophile Epstein.

Yet he continues to hide behind a wall of silence.

In November, Democratic members of the House Oversight Committee formally requested that he testify about his “ties” to Epstein.

Although he had no legal obligation to comply, he did not respond by essentially ignoring the request, just as he did when the U.S. Department of Justice requested an interview with him in 2020.

The humiliation this man inflicts on his two daughters and four grandchildren is appalling.
