Ponguleti Reviews Flood Situation With Collectors
Adilabad: On Wednesday, Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy instructed the collectors in the Godavari River to prepare flood measures and to implement aid efforts in response to heavy rain.
The authority stressed that the authorities should benefit from past experiences in order to identify low areas likely to be influenced and take proactive steps. The Minister reviewed the flood status and intervention plans with the collectors in Hyderabad.
Ponguleti called on all relevant officers to give priority to the protection of life and property during the flood and coordinate their aid operations with other departments.
Abhilash Abhinav, Nirmal collector who attended the meeting, confirmed that preventive measures and preparations for relaxation have already been continuing.
