Anna Wintour taps Chloe Malle as Vogue successor

After Chloe Malle resigned from Dame Anna Wintour’s daily editor, she was elected as the new editorial content president in American Vogue.
Dame Anna, Vogue, Vogue, Vanity Fair and GQ, including leading media brands, the media company Conde Nast will remain the main content manager.
The magazine, actress Candice Bergen and French film director Louis Malle’s daughter Malle’nin immediately play the new role, he said.
He was previously the editor of Vogue.com and became a common host of The Run-Though, Vogue’s weekly fashion and culture podcast.
He will now manage the creative and editorial aspect of the title, and will join Vogue’s ten existing editorial content presidents around the world and report to Dame Anna.
Malle said: “Fashion and media are both developing at full speed and I am very excited to be a part of it – and I was surprised.
“As a mentor, I feel very lucky to have taken Anna down the corridor.”
Dame Anna, who announced the appointment, said: “Fashion change is the art of embracing, but some changes are closer to the person’s heart than others.
“When I came to hire someone to organize the American Vogue, I knew that I had a chance to do this right when Vogue allowed me to translate it more intensively in its multi -faceted growth in its global audiences and publications and Met Gala and Vogue World.
“I am excited to announce that Chloe Malle will be the president of the next editorial content for our US title and will lead the American magazine and guide the digital scope.
“He is a glutton, engaged journalist with a intuition for the changing interests of women – and the definitive image eye is extraordinary.
“Chloe has been one of Vogue’s secret weapons when it comes to watching fashion for a long time. But not so buried in the industry, it misses the world: like the best designers, the big picture of fashion, its role, not only on the track, but also shapes the changing texture of modern life.
“Although he was not alien to the charm of red carpets, his talent was for original thinking and hard work.”
