Anne-Marie reveals unusual baby name for second child inspired by her gestational diabetes

Inspired by her pregnancy difficulties, Anne-Marie revealed her little boy’s unusual name, but was met with a barrage of criticism for her decision.
The 34-year-old British singer gave birth to her second child five months ago and revealed her son’s name on her live UK breakfast TV show on Tuesday.
The Ciao Adios singer and her husband of three years, Slowthai, real name Tyron Kaymone Frampton, named their new little one Forever Sugar.
“Her name is Forever,” he shared This Morning. “Sugar is his middle name.”
And there’s an interesting origin story behind their baby’s name.
“I had diabetes, which is what happens when you’re pregnant,” Anne-Marie said.
“And I thought, ‘What a perfect middle name.'”
Anne-Marie, who also has a one-year-old daughter named Seven, said that the name Forever for her newborn baby was inspired by a family tradition.
“My grandmother would sign every card ‘always and forever,'” he said.
“All the time. And now my mom does it and my sister does it too, and I think ‘Forever’ is just a great name.”
Having two children under the age of two wasn’t entirely planned, but it was something the star was prepared for.
“Honestly, I love psychics and I see a lot of psychics,” she said.
“And they all said, ‘You’re either going to have babies very soon or you’re going to have twins.'”
“And that’s a beautiful thing, but it’s definitely hard.”
