We can say that Kyle Walker’s wife, Annie Kilner, is expecting her fifth baby with the former England star.

The Daily Mail can reveal the 33-year-old WAG, who shares four sons with the Burnley defender, 35, is due to give birth in June after announcing the shock pregnancy to friends and family over Christmas.

The baby news is a sure sign that the couple, who were on the brink of divorce following Walker’s affair with Lauryn Goodman, have put their high-profile marital problems behind them.

In fact, the significance of Annie expecting her baby would be a major blow for love rival Lauryn, who has two children with the former Manchester City defender.

Annie and Kyle told their sons, 11-year-old Roman, 7-year-old Riaan, 5-year-old Reign and 1-year-old Rezon, that their new sibling will arrive in the summer and that his name will start with R, but a final decision has not been made yet.

A source told the Daily Mail that Annie desperately wants to have a baby that would ‘complete’ her family and strengthen their marriage.

The insider added: ‘Kyle returned from Italy last year and Annie has since made it clear to him that she wants their son to have another baby sibling.

‘He believes that a baby will help him leave all his troubles behind.

‘Their family and close friends were shocked when they heard because there were still some issues between them. This is a bit risky because sometimes a new baby can add more pressure to a marriage. But everyone is so happy for them and they’re doing everything they can to support Annie.’

The insider added: ‘Annie and Kyle’s four sons are so excited to have a new sibling and they talk a lot about it.’

Childhood sweethearts Kyle and Annie married in 2021, but their relationship was rocked in January 2024 after it was revealed that he was the father of Lauryn’s daughter Kinara.

The influencer controversially texted Annie on Boxing Day 2023, revealing that she was expecting her second child with her husband, who had previously fathered her first son, five-year-old Kairo, during a brief separation from Annie.

Kyle’s betrayal saw the 96-year-old defender kicked out of the family home he shared with Annie, who later served him with divorce papers when their marriage broke down.

The source added: ‘Annie is enjoying being pregnant this time because she was last pregnant with Rezon and then news broke about Kyle’s secret love child with Lauryn and it put her under a lot of stress.

‘Things couldn’t have been more different for him this time. ‘Annie and Kyle are in a much better place, they have worked hard to rebuild their marriage and trust and Annie believes a new baby is a fresh start for them all.’

Walker fled to Italy last year to spend the second half of the season at AC Milan in a bid to escape the saga surrounding him and Lauryn.

The significance of Annie expecting her baby will come as a major blow for love rival Lauryn, who has two children with the former Manchester City and AC Milan defender.

He joined Serie A giants AC Milan, but his spell with the seven-time Champions League winners failed to secure a permanent move, resulting in Kyle returning to England to join Premier League newcomers Burnley.

But playing in the North West enabled Kyle to return to his lavish Cheshire mansion with Annie and their four sons and rekindle their relationship.

It’s unknown whether Lauryn was aware of Annie’s pregnancy, but the two WAGs were locked in a fierce row following news of Walker’s secret love child with the influencer.

Lauryn was accused of fueling her rift with both Annie and Karl on social media to keep the issue in the public eye, and at one point even claimed she was moving to Italy to be closer to the footballer for the sake of the two children she shares with him.

The source explained: ‘Annie and her close friends and family have been bracing themselves for how Lauryn will react to this.

‘But given his past behaviour, we fear he might not like it and things might get messy.’

In 2024, Lauryn lost her court battle with Kyle over how much money she should receive for her children.

Judge Edward Hess criticized him for ‘insatiable greed’, claiming he tried to use the defender, who earns around £160,000 a week, as his ‘open-ended checkbook’ and ‘threatened him repeatedly to get what he wanted’.

The insider said: ‘Kyle returned from Italy last year and Annie has since made it clear to him that she wants their son to have another baby sibling.’

His demands included £31,000 Astro Lawn, £30,000 for air conditioning, £70,000 car allowance every three years, plus a car for the nanny and £150,000 annual child support.

In his ruling, the judge also harshly criticized Lauryn for the Christmas message she sent to Annie: ‘The purpose of this was to distress the father’s wife (Annie), and that is what happened.

‘I do not accept the mother’s explanation that this text message was sent in order to create a good working relationship between the two women in the father’s life.’
