Anti-ICE agitators swarm federal agents in Minneapolis

As tensions continue to rise in the Twin Cities following the death of Renee Nicole Good last week, anti-U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agitators were seen tackling federal agents during immigration enforcement operations in Minneapolis on Tuesday.
Video from the busy scene shows dozens of agitators stepping into the path of immigration officers’ vehicles, positioning themselves near and in front of officers as they try to move through the crowd.
Agents were seen firing tear gas and pepper spray in an attempt to disperse the crowd and open a way out.

As the scene progressed, agitators were heard chanting anti-fascist slogans, swearing, blowing whistles and honking horns; This was apparently done with the aim of disrupting the operation and suppressing law enforcement orders.
A young man was heard shouting “We will fight fascists every day” while recording the scene on his mobile phone.
“This is Minneapolis and we are not going to lose,” he added.
Others were heard encouraging others with a bullhorn and contradicting each other about disrupting law enforcement.
In one incident, a man was seen standing in the middle of the road with his hands up and verbally taunting agents, “If you’re going to do it, do it now.” He was later seen wiping the pepper spray from his face with water.

In a separate local incident, agitators attempted to interfere with federal agents by attempting to arrest at least one suspect, closing in on the operation and forcing the agents to work in a tight crowd. The agitators there also shouted obscenities at the agents, blew whistles and honked vehicle horns.
On Monday night, federal agents used tear gas and rubber bullets after agitators threw fireworks at them outside a federal building in the city.
The Department of Homeland Security said more than 2,000 arrests have been made in Minnesota since December in what ICE described as the largest enforcement operation in the state.

ICE officials on Saturday released a shocking list of the “worst of the worst” criminal illegal immigrants arrested during the recent surge. Those arrested during the surge included convicted murderers, child rapists, pedophiles, domestic abusers and other violent criminals, ICE officials said.
Unrest in Minneapolis and St. The move comes as Minnesota, joined by the cities of St. Paul, filed a lawsuit Monday seeking to halt or limit federal immigration enforcement in the Twin Cities.
