AP Guv, Naidu, Jagan Extend Eid-ul-Fitr Greetings
Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Governor S Abdul Nazeer, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and opposition leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy extended Eid greetings to the people of the state on Saturday. The governor said Ramzan is a period of worship, fasting, charity and responsibility.
It is also a month of forgiving, where every Muslim gets closer to God Almighty, he said, adding that the teachings of the holy Quran on the importance of faith, justice, compassion, and ethical behavior have shaped society over the ages.
“On the occasion of the holy month of Ramzan ending as Eid-al-Fitr, I extend my warm greetings and good wishes to all my Muslim brothers and sisters in Andhra Pradesh,” Nazeer said in a press release from Lok Bhavan.
On this Holy Eid al-Fitr day, let us fulfill our promise to respect the dignity of all beings, the sanctity of life and the sanctity of all faiths, the Governor added.
The Prime Minister noted that the holy month of Ramadan offers a great opportunity to walk on the right path through fasting and prayers.

Similarly, YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy stated that Ramzan, one of the holiest festivals for Muslims, reflects the spirit of devotion through fasting, prayer, charity, renunciation of evil and service to people.
He stated that the festival is a symbol of harmony, goodwill, universal equality, compassion and generosity. “Reddy extended warm Eid-al-Adha greetings to his Muslim brothers and sisters on the holy occasion of Ramadan,” said a press release from YSRCP.
Moreover, the opposition leader said Ramzan is a powerful reminder of the values of truthfulness, self-restraint and humanity.
