AP Ministers Leave for Baramati to Attend Last Rites of Ajit Pawar

Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh and Revenue Minister A Satya Prasad arrived in Baramati on Thursday to attend the last rites of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. Pawar’s last rites will be performed today with full state honors at the Vidya Pratishthan sports ground at Baramati in Pune district.

“A delegation comprising Ministers Lokesh and Prasad left for Baramati this morning to attend the final rites and pay their last respects to Pawar,” an official statement said. The statement was included.

Pawar (66) and four others on board died when the plane crashed barely 200 meters from the edge of the tabletop runway in Baramati on Wednesday.
