On Monday, Apple announced a revision of the operating system interface, introduced an application for games, and introduced a vibrant translation feature, but accepted promises about artificial intelligence last year.

Last year, the company’s worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) executives introduced the Virtual Assistant Siri plans to use AI to fulfill more interactive and complex tasks. However, some features have been postponed, and many analysts have seen questions about Apple’s relatively slow approach to adopting AI.

On Monday, Apple’s Software Engineering Vice President Craig Federight said that during the opening speech of Cupertino, Cupertino, the company continued to work to make the virtual assistant Siri “more personal”.

This work, “he needed more time to reach our high -quality bar,” he said the company “next year” will share more.

In a big step, Apple said that they would open the “Apple Intelligence” AI model to developers and thus better integrate into their applications. Federight said it would “fir a brand new wave of intelligence.” He showed an example of an application that helps to prepare an application test based on class grades for a student.

Most of the presentation on Monday was that a new operating system interface, which was more strictly linked to Apple devices with a functionality and appearance that the company defines as “liquid glass”. The new design, which will be included in everything from phones to watches and iPads, is to make every item on the screen look more fluent and reactive to the movement.

“I am glad to the re -design of the operating system in harmony, because it reduces the entry obstacle for users to use multiple devices at the same time.” He said.

From time to time, Apple announced hardware updates or new devices at WWDC, but there was no Monday.

While Apple is known for its stylish designs and loyal fan base, analysts say that AI devices have a print space on the iPhone manufacturer after former Apple designer Jony Ive Forces forces with Sam AltmanOpenai CEO.

And more broadly in AI, some observers criticized Apple’s approach.

“It’s hard to be very hyperbolic about the importance of AI in the next few years. And I’m not even sure that Apple is the top five. Maybe they’re the first.” Financial times Reporter Patrick McGee, the author of the new book Apple in China: Capture of the world’s largest company. “For the world’s most valuable company, basically since 2011, instead of leadership, they have done a very weak job to continue.”

Apple’s AI problems are just one of the many difficulties faced by the company.

The threat of tariffs seems great, because Apple’s products are largely suspended by the Trump administration, albeit temporarily suspended. President Trump also told Apple CEO Tim Cook that there will be iPhones Confront additional tariffs If they are not made in the United States.

The company also faced regulatory barriers at home and abroad. European antitröst organizers fined Apple, the European Union Law, because it is suitable for the Digital Markets Law (DMA), which wants to encourage competition among major technology players. And Apple faces in the USA legal pressure Charges in the application store via commissions.

Some analysts have to step into AI, but not outside the game. “AI race, as a race about it, as much as we want to talk about, a marathon and a marathon that changes very quickly on a monthly basis.” He said.

Historically, analysts say that it has achieved great success with products that are not the first example of Apple’s species, but greeted as best.

Apple refused to comment on the criticism of AI presentation.
