Telangana Civil Supplies Commissioner M. Stephen Raveendra said on Wednesday morning, March 25, 2026, that there is no shortage of petrol or diesel anywhere in the State. He said that 1,500 gasoline and diesel tankers were supplied to fuel stations on Tuesday, March 24, 2026.

The statement was made as people continue to flock to fuel stations to fill their vehicles with gasoline, diesel and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG). Stations were clogged with crowds waiting their turn for fear of not being able to get fuel. To control the crowd, police personnel were deployed at a petrol depot in Old Alwal to facilitate filing of two, three and four-wheelers.

The Commissioner said that approximately 20,000 kilo liters of oil were available and the Oil Marketing Companies had sufficient reserves of petrol and diesel to meet daily needs.
