Harry and Meghan sent ‘last chance’ warning as they prepare for tour | Royal | News

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle received a big warning ahead of their visit to Australia. The couple, who made the announcement earlier this month, will visit Down Under in mid-April.
Harry, 41, and Meghan, 44, will undertake “a range of private, business and charitable activities” in Australia, with details of the trip showing one of Meghan’s main activities included. The mother-of-two will host a wellness retreat at a beachfront hotel in Sydney from April 17-19.
Speaking to New Magazine, PR expert and talent manager Dermot McNamara said the visit was the “last chance” for the couple to decide what they really wanted.
He said: “This is one last chance for them to figure out where they fit in and where they want to go. Harry in particular probably thinks he should go back there and they know Australia is a place that loves them, especially compared to the UK.”
“So this is a journey with a lot of possibilities but also a lot of risk. It’s a way to send the message that we’re here and we’re active.”
He added: “This offers a middle ground for Harry and Meghan to present themselves as royals and international celebrities without being too in-your-face.”
Meghan will also attend a chat event and gala dinner with the Her Best Life podcast during their time in Sydney.
While his wife prepares for the retreat, Harry is scheduled to attend the InterEdge Psychosocial Safety Summit, which will focus on mental health in the workplace.
InterEdge Summit Chief Executive Carrie Leeson said in a statement ahead of Harry’s attendance: “We are honored to welcome Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, to the InterEdge Summit, joining an extraordinary roster of leaders whose collective expertise reflects both the scale of the challenge and the urgency of action.
“This Summit is about going beyond awareness and driving the meaningful change that Australian workplaces desperately need.”
