APSPDCL Wins Five National Awards At IPPAI Conference

Tirupati: Andhra Pradesh Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (APSPPDCL) won five national level awards at a power sector conference held in Karnataka. The awards were announced during the 26th National Regulators and Policy Makers Conference organized by the Independent Power Producers Association of India (IPPAI) in Belagavi from January 7-10.
According to the conference resolutions, APSPDCL achieved the top national ranking in five key areas, including thermal power generation, promotion of green hydrogen, implementation of smart metering, promotion of rooftop solar power generation and promotion of electric vehicles.
The awards were presented at the graduation and awards ceremony held in Belagavi. APSPDCL director (projects and IT) P. Ayub Khan received the awards on behalf of chairman and managing director Shivashankar Lotheti. The awards were presented by former Union energy minister Suresh Prabhu, former Maharashtra chief secretary Ajay Mehta and MERC chairman Sanjay Kumar, along with representatives of IPPAI.
APSPDCL employees and staff expressed happiness that the organization received five national awards. Speaking on the occasion, CMD Shivashankar Lotheti said that this recognition should inspire the employees and staff to continue to deliver strong performance and work to achieve more such honors in the future.
