APSSDC, OMCAP sign MoU with Apollo MedSkills to facilitate overseas jobs for youth

Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC), Overseas Manpower Corporation Andhra Pradesh Limited (OMCAP) and Apollo MedSkills Limited (AMSL) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to create overseas employment opportunities for youth from Andhra Pradesh, especially in healthcare and allied sectors.
Under the partnership, the Authority will facilitate candidate mobilization, data management and coordination of training activities, while OMCAP will serve as the central agency for overseas recruitment under the Immigration Act 1983, APSSDC Executive Director D. Manohar said in a press release. Apollo MedSkills Limited will act as an academic and training partner by offering tailored programs in line with international healthcare standards and supporting the placement of qualified candidates abroad.
The initiative aims to train 500 candidates in the first phase and facilitate placement abroad, Mr. Manohar said, with the potential to expand to 1,000 candidates in the first year, adding that APSSDC can provide financial support of up to ₹15,000 per candidate towards training costs as per approved norms.
APSSDC Managing Director and CEO G. Ganesh Kumar said the collaboration reflects the State’s commitment to prepare youth for global employment opportunities through internationally aligned education and structured overseas placement pathways. “By partnering with Apollo MedSkills, we aim to create opportunities for talented youth in Andhra Pradesh to access rewarding careers in the global healthcare sector,” he added.
