The doctor announced that he had left the Tameide Hospital in February 2024 and has returned to domestic Pakistan since then. However, he expressed his desire to continue his career in England, and he made sure that this “one -time judicial error” would not be repeated.
In his testimony, Dr angum said: “At least it was quite embarrassing. I will only blame myself. Not only my patient and myself, but also disappointed me. I disappointed my colleagues who respect me.”

“My wife made a very traumatic delivery, it was a very stressful experience. During this time we could not connect as a couple. My personal life, mental health and hospital work was damaged.”
The hearing in Manchester will continue on Friday, when the panel’s suitability for Dr Anjum is in danger due to abuse.
