AP&TG CMs Meet in Delhi to Resolve Inter-State Water Disputes

New Delhi: Andhra Pradesh Prime Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and TaLangana Countart A. Revanth Reddy met at Delhi on Tuesday to discuss basic water disputes between states. Under the auspices of the Minister of Union Water Resources Cr Patil, the meeting in Shram Shakti Bhavan focused on solving long -standing problems between the two Telugu provinces.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of Water Resources Minister Nimmala Ramanidu and TaLangana Irrigation Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy, the secretaries of both states, the secretaries of the water resources departments and senior engineers.
Before the joint debate, he organized internal meetings with his authorities to conclude their strategies at both cm. With the chief secretaries and senior irrigation officials, they reviewed technical aspects and formulated responses in a 90 -minute session at the official houses.
On July 15, the Telangana government conveyed to the center where the Godavari-Banakacherla project proposed by the neighboring state should not be on the agenda for the meeting.
He wrote a letter that appealed to the agenda proposed by the Andhra Pradesh government, which included the controversial project.
