We now know what Starmerism is – but the prime minister lacks an inspirational vision
Following the name of a political leader, a “-ism” is usually for years. Define guiding philosophies.
However, while Sir Keir Starmer pointed out his first anniversary as the prime minister, he presented “Starmerism ı as a concept for himself even without bothering to wait for the usual friendly commentator to invention for him.
Some of them describe this as “Two Tier Keir” (from the rows of justice and prosperity) or “never here” (many travels abroad), but there is clearly something very different in mind.
