Jack Wilshere: Former Arsenal midfielder is number one choice for manager’s job at Luton Town

Wilshere was overlooked for the permanent job as the Canaries appointed Liam Manning and he was also linked with Plymouth Argyle before Tom Cleverley took over.
Troubled by consecutive relegations, Luton have made a poor start to the 2025–26 season, with five defeats in their first 11 matches to sit 11th in League One.
Wilshere was the Under-18s coach at Arsenal before joining Norwich and was a candidate for the Gunners’ Under-21 role in the summer before withdrawing.
The former midfielder made 34 appearances for England and 197 appearances for Arsenal before taking on roles at West Ham and Bournemouth.
