Government aims to integrate Ayurveda into health education curriculum in schools, colleges: Minister

AYUSH Minister Prataprao Jadhav said the government aims to integrate the government’s health education curriculum in schools and colleges.

Ayush mission
Regarding the competition between modern medicine and Indian healing practices, Mr. Jadhav said that the aim is to develop an integrated health model.
“Allopathy and ayush systems are not competitors, but complementary for each other. We are working to combine the benefits of both systems to provide better and more comprehensive health services through the National Ayush mission and Ayush Grid.”
As part of the government’s policy of strengthening the public health infrastructure, in accordance with the National Ayush mission, Ayush doctors are deployed in health and healthy living centers, especially in rural and remote regions, to make primary health services more accessible.
The Minister said that the Ministry of Ayush has given a new identity to the traditional medical practices of India in the last decade.
“We have not only set up ayush systems with scientific evidence, but also to spread to the masses and gain global acceptance.
