According to reports, Israel’s iron dome caught several drones in the air, but some have successfully achieved their goals.

The images published by Iran show drones from Iran drone bases at night and set out for Israel. Iran claimed that the latest strikes contain both missiles and drones.

HAHED-136, ARASH-2 DRONS

Among the drones shown in the images were Shahed-136, a drone previously used by Russia against Ukraine. However, Iran introduced ARASH-2, the latest drone.

ARASH-2 DRONE, also known as Kian-2, made a war exit in this conflict.

How do Iran drones reach Israel?

Tehran and Tel Aviv are about 2,000 km apart and Israel’s fishing tp drones are only 1,000 km. This raises questions about how Israel’s drones can hit Iran’s capital. Israel is believed to use American air bases near Iran to start drone strikes. However, Iran cannot do the same. So, how have Iran’s drones travel so far?

Satellite images reveal that Iran’s DEZFUL Airport, which is located on the western border of Iran, is not only a civilian airport, but also a drone base. This base, which is approximately 1,500 km from Israel, allows Iran to initiate in-depth ARASH-2 drone strikes on Israeli territory.

ARASH-2 DRONE: Features and abilities

ARASH-2 DRONE is tested in 2019 after the war exit. It flys at 400 km long and 400 km/h, this drone can carry up to 250 kg explosives and hit up to 2,000 km and put cities like Tel Aviv into its range.

The turning point in Drone Warfare

In the early days of the war, Iran, Israeli missiles and drones seemed to have successfully hit Iran’s goals. However, with the deployment of the most advanced drone, Iran seems determined to change the balance of power.
