Tiger Woods’ insulting remarks to Vanessa Trump that sparked weekend-long fight after his DUI arrest: ‘She will 100 percent walk’

Tiger Woods and Vanessa Trump have been arguing all weekend after the golf star was arrested for drunken driving on Friday.

Multiple sources told the Daily Mail about rising tensions between the pair since Woods was arrested after rolling his Range Rover near his home on Florida’s Jupiter Island.

We previously revealed how Vanessa was expecting Woods, 50, after he was released from prison.

While their conversation started on a positive tone after the incident, it was revealed that Woods left 48-year-old Vanessa in anger.

An insider said: ‘He went from concerned to angry. “Let’s figure this out together,” he said, and his response was basically “yes yes yes, I get it. It’s okay. It’s under control.” He said, “It’s obvious that not everything is under control.”

It seems like most of Vanessa’s anger stems from fearing for her own safety while in the car with the golf star, who has had four major incidents behind the wheel.

Woods crashed into a fire hydrant while fleeing his family’s home on Thanksgiving Day in 2009 after discovering that his ex-wife, Elin Nordegren, was cheating on him.

In 2017, Woods was found behind the wheel of his car with its engine running on the side of the road after he said he had a bad reaction to painkillers. And in 2021, he shattered his right leg after a horrific crash in California in which he flipped his car for the first time.

Now, if he and Vanessa are to have a future, he wants assurance that history will never repeat itself.

‘Sometimes she gets angry because he takes her and her children around. ‘He’s thinking about all the times he didn’t know if he was good at driving or not,’ the source added.

‘She’s a protective mother. And this is not only irresponsible, but also dangerous. He needs reassurance that this won’t happen again.

‘Tiger’s response was ‘don’t worry, I’m fine’. So I don’t want to say they’re in a bad situation, but he won’t stand for it. He needs stability and this is not stable.

‘If he can’t fix this he will 100 percent walk. He’s trying to make this clear without sounding like an ultimatum, but obviously it is.’

But another source insisted it would serve as a sign of change for the 15-time Major winner, insisting he simply needed time to digest what had happened.

Woods was driven home from jail after being released on bail by a friend late Friday night.

‘He apologized profusely when he was released from custody. “He says he really wants to do something about it, and this is a wake-up call for him,” the source said.

‘But when it comes to Tiger, he needs to figure out what’s best for him. He needs to decide how to fix this and what his plans will be. no one else can tell him what to do.

‘There are a lot of people in his life who want to make sure he’s okay. He will listen to our advice but will make the final decision on what he should do. So I would say we need to be a little patient with him. It will solve this. He’s faced worse.’

It was revealed on Monday that Woods was hesitant to hire a personal chauffeur for fear of information about his whereabouts being leaked.

But friends are urging Woods to reconsider his decision, the source says.

‘He can find a driver who will only drive it when he feels he needs it,’ they said. ‘Someone who is always on duty but doesn’t have to drive if he doesn’t want to.

‘That’s what I recommend to him because he will never stop driving completely. I believe you will figure this out.’

Trump and Woods first started seeing each other around Thanksgiving 2024, and the Daily Mail exclusively revealed they were an item in March last year.

Woods’ last run-in with the law came just as things were looking up for the golf great.

The golf legend’s last rollover accident took place in California in 2021, where the damage was worse.

Having returned to play at ‘The Golf League’ event in Florida last Tuesday, he was looking to return from his seventh back surgery to compete in The Masters in Augusta from April 9th.

Vanessa was there with her daughter Kai that day, and Woods kissed her on the cheek in an adorable moment in front of the watching world.

But everything changed Friday afternoon when he crashed into a truck and trailer he was trying to overtake on Jupiter Island.

Although he avoided serious injury and passed a breathalyzer test, he refused to provide a urine sample, which led to his arrest.
