Madarsi Camp, Destruction Driving in Kalkaji
At the beginning of this month, DDA took a demolition drive after the High Court instructions on June 11 at the Bhoomihin camp in Kalkaji region.
DDA had previously issued an official notification to all residents of the Bhoomihin camp and directed it to evacuate the buildings due to the collapse of illegal huts.
8, 9 and 10 June were given three days to empty their huts. The notification said that the non -compliance would lead to destruction by the authorities.
The operation was carried out to solve the flood problems caused by narrowed evacuation that prevented water flow during heavy rainfall.
On June 1, a destruction driving at the Madrasi Camp in the South East Delhi, Jangpura was carried out by the authorities to clear the rape in the region during the Barapulla drainage on the orders of the Supreme Court of Delhi.
