Laver Cup 2025: Taylor Fritz stuns Carlos Alcaraz as Team World lead Team Europe after day two

American Taylor Fritz, Team World, on the second day of the Laver Cup 9-3 to reversed things to reversed the number one Carlos Alcaraz’ı stun.

The European team went ahead 3-1 on Friday, but Team World won four games in San Francisco on Saturday to return the tide before the last day.

At the previous three meetings, Fritz, who did not beat Spanish Alcaraz, won a comprehensive victory of 6-3 6-2 in the last single match of the day.

The fifth world said it was one of the best moments of his career.

“I think I’m almost more proud about it because I feel, I started to finish, I won, I won,” he said.

“Many of the decisive scores in the match were not many things that they gave them – I felt that it took place in those moments. I just started finishing, I played an incredible match. I hope this might be a sign of future things.”
