Bus driver booked for allegedly trying to assault lawyer

Ernakulam Central police arrested a private bus employee for allegedly attempting to attack a lawyer. The unidentified bus driver was arrested following a complaint filed by lawyer Bharath R. (25).

The alleged incident took place near the Park Avenue Road District Court in the city, when Mr. Bharath was questioning the bus driver for allegedly trying to crash the motorcycle he was riding earlier in the day.

The defendant is charged with attempted premeditated murder, uttering obscenities in public, criminal intimidation and rash driving.
