Jewellery brand in business since 2022 to close Norfolk store | UK | News

The Spanish jewelery brand’s only UK branch will close within days, a decision it has described as a “difficult decision”. Miramira will launch a clearance sale at its Norfolk store, which opens in 2024, running until March 28, the last day of trading.

Items will be discounted by up to 50% at the high street store in King’s Lynn to help clear stock before it closes for good. Owners Darren and Catherine Mooney said: “After much thought we have made the difficult decision to close our store. It has not been an easy choice but we are incredibly grateful for the support, loyalty and kindness our customers have shown us throughout our time here.”

In a post on Facebook, they continued: “Being a part of this community means more than we can say. Thank you to everyone who shops with us, shares our posts, recommends us, or just stops by to browse.”

The store was opened by husband and wife team Darren and Catherine Mooney in December 2024 as the company’s first franchise in the UK. The owners did not disclose the reason for the closure.

The brand specializes in 14-carat gold stainless steel necklaces, rings and earrings, and disappointed customers expressed their dismay online.

One shared: “So sad to read this – you were mine and my daughter’s favorite – can we buy online?”

The retailers confirmed that they had never operated an online store as they were franchisees, adding that all stocks would be depleted when they closed at the end of March.
