Attorney general trashes calls from Nigel Farage to leave the ECHR

The Chief Public Prosecutor, Nigel Farage and some senior conservatives of the European Convention on the Convention on Human Rights (ECtHS) to leave the calls to leave, and abandoning it would send a “extremely harmful signal” to the British allies, he said.
Lord Richard Hermer said that leaving the human rights agreement would leave the Britain in the British “Russia and Belarus (Russia was fired from the ECHR after the occupation of Ukraine, and Belarus did not join the Council of Europe).
Sir Keir Starmer’s senior lawyer is that one of the frequent complaints against the ECHR makes it impossible to deport overseas people who can face the risk of death or torture.

“If we wanted to overcome this, we don’t just have to leave the ECHR, we also have to leave. [UN] We must abandon the torture Convention, Children’s Rights Convention, and leave the International Convention on Civil or Political Rights. ”
“Together with Russia and Belarus, we would be in a magnificent insulation on this planet, which I didn’t think was for the interests of this country.”
To do this sends an extremely harmful signal, not about where we are now, but also about the importance of international cooperation and basic common values ”.
Reform British leader has supported the separation of the ECHR in order to deport the immigrants who have come to England for a long time.
His plans would see that Britain had abandoned the ECHR and changed the Human Rights Law with the British rights law, which would be valid for only British citizens and those who have the right to live in the UK.

Meanwhile, Kemi Badenoch promised to determine the position of the conservative party on the ECHR at the annual conference in October.
The contract is expected to be separated as the official position of the party, a stance held by the Shadow Justice Secretary and Leadership Hopeful Robert Jenrick.
In June, Ms. Badenoch launched a commission to see the ECHR’s effectiveness and whether it is possible to leave. At that time, Britain said that “probably” should be withdrawn.
Lord Hermer added that Britain could strengthen the ECHR’s attitude towards migration without the foul, and that some of our colleagues in the Council of Europe have much more robust migration and asylum rules in compatible with the eighth article ”.

Eight articles of the contract maintain the basic right of respect for the individual’s private and family life.
Lord Hermer added: orum I want to make sure that we have the best and most effective migration and asylum rules possible. There is a real field of business and I know that the Minister of the Interior is definitely above. ”
The “broken” immigration and asylum system left by the conservatives promised to control some of the most powerful languages and the numbers that came to England. The government said, “While trying to protect the interests of this country and trying to deal with the migration and asylum system, it will not be broken when we go in to a large extent,” he said.
