We’ll start on the earnings front, with more reports coming out on Wednesday, including J Bill, General Mills and Micron.

Micron announced its results for the first quarter after the market close, and I expect Micron to beat its sales and profit forecast because memory prices continue to rise, signaling continued supply shortages.

And if this shortage continues until 2027, it could cause prices to rise.

Price growth may slow early next year as companies hold extra inventory, but this is expected to pick up again in late 2026 due to strong AI-driven demand.

If we also look at the Federal Reserve, we will hear another Fed comment on Wednesday, including from New York Fed President John Williams.

Williams said on Monday that monetary policy is well positioned for 2026, given the risk of rising employment and slightly declining inflation.

This comes after the Fed cut interest rates by 25 basis points at the FOMC meeting in December and ahead of another critical inflation data on Thursday, the November consumer price index.
