Sherrone Moore gets probation; former staffer says sentence falls short

The former Michigan employee who allegedly had an inappropriate relationship with Sherrone Moore that led to her firing and subsequent arrest is not thrilled that Moore seemingly got off easy.
Moore was fired on December 10 due to his relationship with Paige Shiver. Shortly after the shooting, he was jailed for allegedly breaking and entering her home. threatens to kill himself.
Moore was sentenced to 18 months probation and ordered to pay a fine of just over $1,000, which wasn’t enough for Shiver.

“December 10 was the scariest day of my life,” Shiver said in a statement via the New York Post following Moore’s sentencing on Tuesday.
“His criminal actions were extremely frightening and violent. He entered my house crying, shouting, angry and came at me with knives. I was threatened and feared for my life.
“Today’s sentence does not reflect the harm done to me or the objective evidence in this case.”
The Action Injuries Law Group statement, obtained by Fox News Channel last month, alleged that Shiver “was subjected to years of manipulation, harassment and exploitation by a man who wielded tremendous power over his professional life as the head football coach of one of the nation’s premier football teams.” college football programs.”
Shiver’s attorneys questioned Michigan’s entire athletic program after the incident, adding that their client believed “he may not have been the only one to experience inappropriate, coercive or predatory behavior from this individual.”

At an initial hearing held shortly after his arrest, a prosecutor said Moore and the alleged victim had “an intimate relationship for several years.”
In the Ann Arbor courtroom, Moore said he took the process “very seriously” while thanking his wife, Kelli, for her support. Judge in case tells Moore he ‘got it'[s] to him for sure.”
Prosecutors accused Moore of communicating with the employee through phone calls and texts after the separation, which led to the woman contacting the University of Michigan and cooperating with the investigation. Moore was later fired from his position as head football coach, which prosecutors said prompted him to show up at her home.
Moore then allegedly entered the home, grabbed a butter knife and a pair of kitchen shears, and threatened his own life. Moore allegedly told staff, “You’ve got my blood on your hands” and “You ruined my life,” according to prosecutors.
Moore claimed there was no contest two misdemeanors to resolve the felony case.
Moore went 16-8 as Michigan’s head coach; 8-5 in his first season and 7-3 last season. He missed two matches due to suspension Sign theft investigation.
