Kristi Noem Asked — With Her Husband Sitting Right Behind Her — If She’s Had ‘Sexual Relations With Corey Lewandowski’
DHS Secretary Kristi Noem torn Rep. Sydney Kamlager-Dove (D-CA) on Wednesday for allegedly “selling tabloid garbage” after the MP asked if he had slept with her. Corey Lewandowski- Noem’s husband was sitting right behind her.
The awkward moment occurred while Noem was testifying before the House Judiciary Committee. The hearing was apparently focused on the President Donald Trump’s There was a crackdown on illegal immigration, but things took a turn for the worse when Noem was pressured about her relationship with Lewandowski.
“Did you have sexual intercourse with Corey Lewandowski at any time during your tenure as director of the Department of Homeland Security?” Kamlager-Dove asked.
“Mr. Chairman, I am shocked that we went before this committee today and sold tabloid garbage,” Noem told the Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH). “And ma’am, all I have to tell you is that he is a special government employee working for the White House, thousands of…”
The two women then began talking to each other, with Noem repeating that it was “trash” and that she was offended by it. Kamlager-Dove said it was “normal to be offended by the question” but that it was necessary to ask it.
“This is about you making decisions and making decisions, it’s about the 260,000 employees working under you who want to make sure you’re providing information and making decisions clearly,” Kamlager-Dove said.. “This is about conflict of interest. It’s about national security risk.”
“American lives are at risk,” he added.
Noem did not answer whether she was hanging out with Lewandowski.
Kamlager-Dove looked ahead as she read a series of headlines about Noem and Lewandowski that she said she wanted for the record to say; Jordan objected to each one. Noem’s husband, Bryon, was seated behind her during her testimony, but his view was blocked when his wife was asked about her reported lover.
The urge comes after a month Wall Street Magazine reported Noem and Lewandowski had a “close relationship”; The report said: President Donald Trump and his advisors were “uncomfortable” about it.
