Bali mini bus crash: Five Chinese tourists killed after vehicle plunges into ravine

5 tourists lost their lives when the minibus they were traveling in fell into a cliff in Bali.
Five people died and 13 people were injured when the driver lost control of the vehicle while the Chinese passengers were heading towards Buleleng district in the northern part of Bali.
Local police chief Widwan Sutadi said the driver was trying to avoid a collision with another vehicle when he fell into the cliff.
“The driver was unable to control the vehicle, so he swerved to the left, hitting a tree, and tried to avoid a collision (with another car), but the minibus skidded and rolled into the shallow stream,” Mr Sutadi told Reuters.
“Due to the driver’s carelessness while turning and landing, he left the asphalt road and entered the municipal garden, causing a traffic accident.”
While the group was taken to the hospital, five of them died. While the driver was injured, he survived the fatal crash.
