Banakacharla Project Won’t Harm Telangana, Says Somu Veerraju

Kakinada: Former BJP State President and MLC Som Veerraju claimed that the proposed Banakacharla irrigation project would not adversely affect the water interests of TaLangana. Veerraju, who appealed to the media in Rajamhendravaram on Saturday, said that only more water will be used under the project, otherwise it will flow into the sea. Veerraju made a excavation in Jagan, “If people give him strength again, Ghee’yi 420 or 320?” Unless he changed his tone and approach, Jagan warned that BJP would react strongly.

Veerraju also questioned Jagan’s allegations over repeatedly about the state debt and claimed that the social retirement salary rose from 2,000 to 3,000 during the previous regime, then Finance Minister Bugga Rajendranath Redy was frequently in search of loans in Delhi. He also claimed that Jagan had not started a single irrigation project during his term of office.
