Kelsey Parker is pregnant! Star announces she is expecting ‘rainbow baby’ a year after devastating stillbirth and says it feels like late husband Tom and son Phoenix ‘have sent us another little gift from heaven’

Kelsey Parker announced that she is pregnant.

The influencer shared a photo of the sonogram alongside crystals and a white feather on Instagram on Sunday.

He wrote the following note under the photo: ‘One year ago next month, we lost our beautiful son Phoenix.

‘And somehow, through all the heartbreak, it feels like Tom and Phoenix have sent us another little gift from heaven, our little rainbow baby ✨’.

Kelsey’s world was shattered when her husband, The Wanted singer Tom Parker, died of an inoperable brain tumor at the age of 33 on March 30, 2022.

The couple shared two children, Aurelia (6) and Bodhi (4).

The couple, who found love again with partner Will Lindsay, tragically had a stillbirth in June 2025 and lost their son Phoenix at 39 weeks.

Earlier this month, Kelsey reflected on her devastating stillbirth and said she was ‘treated like a criminal’ by ‘unsympathetic’ police officers.

As she went into unexpected natural labor at 39 weeks, she recalled how the police treated the area like a ‘crime scene’ after being called to the scene.

‘There was no way a midwife could reach me, in fact we were seeing her on FaceTime, Phoenix was born and he was asleep. He was stillborn,’ Kelsey told Good Morning Britain.

‘You could see, you could see he was no longer with us.’

Kelsey was attending the party with Aurelia and Bodhi, her children with late husband Tom, when she went into labor and gave birth to Phoenix just seven minutes later.

He recalled: ‘Obviously we called the ambulance straight away. It took them nine minutes to arrive.

‘When they came, the only way I can describe it is it was like I was in a movie and it wasn’t real and it wasn’t happening to me.

‘They came in, took him away from me, I could only hold Phoenix for nine minutes. This was the only time I could hold him. They then called the police. The police came and said it was a crime scene.

‘But since there was no one with me, that is, there was no midwife, the handover did not take place. So the ambulance and the paramedics, I don’t know, they just arrived and it was so bad.’

He added: ‘My children were there. Frankly, I was saying that my children are going through a lot, can we calm down a little?’

Kelsey, a mother of two, announced that she is expecting her first child in January 2025 with her partner Will, whom she started dating in 2024.

He said: ‘I just wanted love and kindness. Actually I don’t think there’s much to ask. Them [the paramedics] Then he brought out Phoenix…

‘The police, how they are, their energy. I can’t explain their energy. It was like, ‘This is a crime scene.’

He continued: ‘Phoenix is ​​gone at this point. They took Phoenix by ambulance, I did not see Phoenix.

‘They took her to A&E, they took me, and I begged and begged, ‘Please don’t do this to me’, and they took me to the maternity ward where people were delivering babies.

‘And they put me in a white room in the clinic. I really get emotional when I think about this. I bring myself back to this. I literally have goosebumps, I’m so upset and angry at how they treated me.

‘I begged. I know where to go here. They will take me to the delivery room.

‘Let me be with my son. May Will be with his son. Let one of us be there. If you think I did something, fine, let me out, but let Will be with your son. Let someone be with Phoenix. He was alone.”

Good Morning Britain presenter Ed Balls said he felt like paramedics, police and the hospital had ‘got it wrong’.

‘It was literally a domino effect,’ he replied. ‘They all rubbed up against each other. Nobody put their heads above water and said, ‘Wait, let’s all stop for a minute.’

‘There was a police officer outside the hospital room, I had to plead and say: ‘Well, where would I be right now if Phoenix was in the hospital, giving birth to a stillborn baby in the hospital?

They went to the ‘Robinson Room’ and I said, ‘Why am I not there?’

‘When you have a stillborn baby, you have time, you can be there for a week and carry your baby with you. I don’t understand this.

‘My grief nurse, protocol was not followed at the funeral site.

‘What must have happened, Phoenix was born while he was asleep, they took his blood there, then he showed no signs of life and Phoenix was left at home with me and Will.

‘We could handle this as a family. “They took everything.”

Recalling her time in hospital, Kelsey said: ‘It really spiraled and got worse and worse.

‘I picked him up at 7.30pm, they took him out and at 23.00 they came to my room and announced his death. Then I asked if I could go and get some fresh air and they said no.’

Kelsey wanted to film her son’s home birth, which was later used as evidence to prove she had nothing to do with his son’s death.

‘Can you believe I have to say this?’ Kelsey asked the publishers.

‘I’m begging them, ‘Will you watch this movie, if you watch the video I can go down and be with my son.’

‘But no one watched. They watched it at 1.30pm.’

Susanna asked: ‘So at what point, when you weren’t able to spend time with your baby, when you weren’t given the opportunity to grieve what had happened to you, were you told we understood what was happening, we were sorry, you were supported?’

Kelsey said: ‘This never happened for us. Even when I asked to go hold Phoenix, they said I could hold him over the bed.’

He continued: ‘I wasn’t allowed to physically hold Phoenix. They asked me to hold him over the mattress.

‘I’ll never be able to hold him. There was never time for Will and Phoenix.’

Kelsey revealed that her ‘saving grace’ was her late husband Tom, who was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer in 2020 and later passed away in 2022.

‘Having had this experience with Tom, I’ve talked to neurosurgeons all over the world. So actually, when Tom put me through this medical experience for 18 months, I wasn’t afraid. I wasn’t afraid to use my voice.

‘Whereas if it wasn’t for Tom and I hadn’t experienced those things, I’d probably be very scared. I’d probably feel like I’d done something really wrong.’

Ed asked: ‘Did the hospital come to you now and say they got it wrong, did they apologize, are they learning their lesson?’

‘I had a meeting with the ambulance service, they told me they were really sorry but the paramedics had never seen a stillborn baby before.

‘And I said, ‘I’m sorry, it’s not my problem.’

‘The way you treated me, I’ll never get that time back. You took everything away from me and my family.

‘Even the police confiscated the blanket he was born in. Everything. He’s got towels, he’s got everything, he still has them.

‘Nobody contacted me. Nobody gave me anything.”

‘What did the hospital say?’ Ed asked.

‘Nothing. My grief nurse is literally an angel. He is my guardian angel. He wrote the protocol. Protocol was not followed,’ Kelsey said.

He continued: ‘This is my time, that’s why I’m here. I think this happened to me because I was going to be the voice of women. This can’t happen to anyone else.

‘My review, my medical review from the trust, said everything was fine. It was absolutely fine how I was treated. “They couldn’t see a problem with the treatment.”

Susanna read what a Met Police spokesperson said: ‘We understand this is an extremely traumatic experience.

‘We accept that naming the address as the scene of a crime is inappropriate and the family could and should have been treated with more sensitivity.

‘A detective inspector offered to meet with the family, as well as a child bereavement nurse.’

Princess Royal University told the program they could not comment on individual cases.

Following her devastating loss last year, Kelsey shared the heartbreaking news on Instagram.

She also wrote a heartfelt poem alongside it: ‘Phoenix Parker-Lindsay, you will be loved forever.’

The poem read: ‘As you came, the world became silent, You were loved so much, you were missed so much, but you were still not alive. ‘Our precious child, our angel of light, Born with wings, flew silently’.

‘We named you Phoenix, brave and clever. The spirit of love, warmth and light. Even though we have never heard you cry, you will live in hearts that will not ask why. There is no breath to take, no eyes to see, yet you are everything to me. In every sigh, in every tear, you will travel with us, softly near.’

She later wrote on Instagram Stories: ‘Before I receive so many lovely messages and warm wishes, I just wanted to say that I really appreciate everything you all have to say and share.’

‘But with the news being so raw, I would really like to make sure that we as a family are given the space and time to process this devastating and earth-shattering news.’
