Bank exec charged with seeking girls for sex gets bail
“He went later in the evening and the girls joined [a Brisbane CBD five-star hotel]Shep Shephard said.
“The two girls went to the room and you contacted the front office to ask them to leave. It is not claimed that girls entered the room.
“The topic was directed by NSW Police to Argos Task Force [Queensland Police child exploitation unit] And on July 8, they made a search order at your home. “
A prosecutor opposed bail and bail based on the risk of McCANN accusation due to the risk of welfare of the community.
“He lives in NSW. Flight risk. It has financial capacity from previous employment,” he said.
Shephard said McCann’s employment was terminated.
McCann’s lawyer David Jones said his client’s beings will be frozen.
Jones said that the police’s client should be rejected on bail was speculative and may not be sentenced to custody if he was sentenced.
“They are not professional. They lack full neutrality … They speculate when there is nothing there. Fortune goes as far as telling.”
Jones said McCann was not previously a criminal record and was willing to comply with a number of conditions, including living in Queensland during court procedures.
Shephard said he believes that the prosecution is a power in his case against McCann, but the risk of bail offenses or escapes can be reduced under conditions.
McCann was given bail from conditions, including being limited to a mobile phone without curfew and encrypted applications.
Go on Monday.
The charges against Git and McCann would be mentioned again on 4 August.
