High-speed rail project from Delhi to Howrah gains momentum, check travel time, distance, stoppages, top speed to be…

When completed, the bullet train will not only save time, but also offer a first -class travel experience for passengers.

While the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train approached to completion, preparations for another high-speed railway project have begun-this time it tied the national capital Delhi to Howrah in Western Bengal. The bullet train is expected to operate at a speed of 350 km / h and significantly reduce the travel time between the two cities.

According to reports, the Delhi-how the bullet train will cover 1669 kilometers in only six and a half hours. From Delhi to Patna, the journey will only take four hours and the tension to Howrah will be completed in just two and a half hours.

The planned route will include nine large stations. After leaving Delhi, the train will stop in Agra Cantt, Kanpur Central, Lucknow, Ayodhya, Varanasi and Patna before reaching Howrah. Five stations will be located in Bihar and both in Uttar Pradesh in West Bengal.

According to the Dawinic Bhaskar report, the Railway Ministry received the questionnaire for the Bihar section of the route. Construction will be realized in two stages – the first Varanasi Delhi, the second in Howrah Varanasi. The estimated cost for this mega infrastructure project is around RS 5 Lakh Crore.

A 60 km raised road will be built in Patna to support the operation of the bullet train. This raised route will help prevent intervention in regular railway traffic and reduce land acquisition problems.

The Delhi-how the bullet train is part of the Indian government’s vision of offering faster and more comfortable travel options between big cities. As the Mumbai-Ahmedabad project approaches the launch, the spotlight is now turning into this new corridor, which promises to revolutionize a long-distance railway travel in East and northern India.
