Will he? Isn’t it? Do we care? Barnaby Joyce continues slowly, very slowly, mind-numbingly Slow political striptease on whether to switch to One Nation.

That’s the whole point, of course: the attention-deprived, limelight-addicted Joyce admits he can’t hack the backbenches with his $240,000 salary and the job of representing voters who have loyally supported him in multiple elections. Sorry New Englanders, but you’re not enough. Barnaby needs publicity oxygen to survive and Northern Daily Leader isn’t it?
