Bay County Jail employee arrested after dropping meth bag in facility, Sheriff’s Office says

Panama City – An Employee Mr. County Prison Şerif office was arrested after saying that he had brought methamphetamine to the facility.

According to a version Mr. County Sheriff OfficeDaydrian Lipford left a baggie with a white crystal substance while leaving the facility on July 8th.

As the declaration of arrest, Lipford approached to go to the checkpoint, he said he had reached his pocket to get his keys and caused Baggie to fall. The bag was found by a deputy and tested, confirmed that it was 0.4 grams of Meth.

According to Affidavit, the whole event was caught in the video.

Lipford returned to his shift on July 11th and was detained. According to the Sharif office, a officer said that Baggie was himself and that he had consumed some of the Meth when he was in a facility.

The declaration said evidence points to the presence of Meth for personal use. Car was searched and no additional narcotics were found.

On March 1, Lipford had a part -time civilian employee in prison until he was full time. BCSO said he had established limited contact with prisoners.

He was accused of illegal promotion. Lipford does not appear in the prison search for prison and was ordered to the office before the trial on July 11th.

Lipford’s employment in prison was terminated on the morning of 11 July.
