Man charged after allegedly posting death threats against Kristi Noem, Pam Bondi

A man faces multiple federal charges after prosecutors say he issued horrific death threats targeting two prominent former Trump administration officials, including former Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and former Attorney General Pam Bondi.

Around April 3, Elliott Owen Schroer allegedly used X to post a series of sensational messages describing how he would physically attack, kidnap or kill former officials, according to federal court documents filed Tuesday in the Gainesville Division of the Northern District of Georgia.

Schroer, whose age was not disclosed, was reportedly from Georgia. based on To Law and Crime.

“Defendant Elliott Owen Schroer consciously ignored the serious risk that his communications would be viewed as threats of violence,” the document stated.

Authorities alleged that Schroer made disturbing threats to Noem, saying, “I’m going to gouge out your eyes with a dull knife.”

“I will explode your esophagus with a 12-gauge bullet from the back of your neck,” prosecutors added.

“We will impale your head.”

Authorities emphasized that the threats listed were “not limited” to the posts referenced in the indictment.

Prosecutors also alleged that Schroer posted a threatening message directed at Bondi.

It was claimed that the post read “I was going to kill you, Pam.”

Prosecutors said Schroer’s posts were intended to retaliate against Noem and Bondi for performing their official duties while in office.

The four-count indictment against Schroer includes two counts of interstate threatening communications and two counts of threats against former government officials.

U.S. Attorney Theodore S. Hertzberg and Assistant Attorney Jennifer Keen are the prosecutors representing the federal government in this case.
