Ex-England, Liverpool and Newcastle United footballer Andy Carroll ‘charged with breaching non-molestation order’

Former England and Premier League footballer Andy Carroll has been charged with breaching a non-harassment order after being arrested at the airport.

The 36-year-old former Newcastle and Liverpool striker was arrested in April over allegations relating to an incident that took place in March.

Carroll was reportedly attacked by police shortly after landing at Stansted Airport in England from France.

A source who spoke to the Sun at the time of his arrest said he was questioned by police officers and briefly detained.

‘A problem appeared to have been reported to Border Force officers at passport control at Stansted, which led to the police being called. “He was questioned and then taken away,” they said.

‘It caused quite a commotion as there were many other passengers at the location where he was arrested.’

Essex Police told the paper: ‘A man has been charged with breaching a non-harassment order. Andrew Carroll, 36, of Epping, was arrested on April 27 and the alleged offenses relate to an incident in March.

‘He will appear at Chelmsford magistrates court on December 30.’

Carroll played nine times for England during his career. He was photographed playing for the Three Lions in the 2012 European quarter-final match against Italy.

She is currently dating makeup artist Lou Teasdale, 41. The couple was photographed at the Debenhams x ASHISH Launch Event on October 8.

Carroll, who played nine times for England during his career, currently plays for non-league teams Dagenham and Redbridge.

The striker joined the National League South in the summer after returning to England after playing for French clubs Amiens and Bordeaux.

After parting ways with his estranged wife Billi Mucklow in 2024, he is currently dating 41-year-old makeup artist Lou Teasdale.

Andy split from former TOWIE star Billi, 37, in July last year after a tumultuous two-year marriage. They started divorce proceedings in September this year.

Just a few weeks after their split, she went public with Lou, whom she was rumored to have met at Glastonbury in June of the same year.
