Fire in solvent industry, tent house godown in Medchal-Malkajgiri
Hyderabad: Fire broke out in separate incidents in solvent industry and tent house in Jeedimetla area of Medchal-Malkajgiri district in the early hours of Thursday morning.
According to information received from the authorities, fire brigades were dispatched to the scene upon reports of two separate fires in the morning. “We received two fire reports this morning. One of them was a fire in a tent house in Bahadurpur and the material of the tent house was completely damaged due to the flames. A fire engine reached the scene and brought the fire under control and there was no loss of life,” the official said.
“In another fire accident, a solvent industry in Ram Reddy Nagar caught fire and four vehicles reached the spot and are currently working to control the fire. No casualties have been reported so far,” the official added.
While the fire that broke out in the tent house has been extinguished, officials are continuing their efforts to completely extinguish the flames in the solvent sector in Ram Reddy Nagar. More details are awaited.
