Charles Barkley gets into hysterical back-and-forth with Knicks star OG Anunoby about his ‘real name’

New York Knicks star OG Anunoby spoke with the “Inside the NBA” crew following his team’s blowout victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Saturday, and as is often the case with the legendary group, the conversation quickly spiraled out of control.

When it was Charles Barkley’s turn to ask Anunoby a question, he wasn’t interested in learning anything about the play that had just taken place. Instead, Barkley wanted to ask the Knicks forward a personal but extremely simple question.

Barkley asked Anunoby, “Can I ask you a question?” He introduced the moment by asking: You knew a classic Chuck moment was about to emerge, and that’s exactly what happened.

“OG, can I ask you a question? What is your real name?” Barkley asked, a fact he could learn for himself in about four seconds with a quick Google search.

The back-and-forth that ensued, including Barkley joking that OG didn’t say his name correctly, didn’t disappoint.

The Knicks-Cavaliers series didn’t have many valuable moments on the court where New York flexed its muscles and took a 3-0 lead, but at least we got Chuck to inject some life into the postgame.

Anunoby had a very effective performance to help the Knicks to a 121-108 victory in Cleveland on Saturday. The 28-year-old player recorded 21 points and 7 rebounds, going 3-for-4 from three-point range in 31 minutes.
